Isaiah-2

Isaiah 40–66 opens a remarkable window into New Covenant life, revealing the holiness and almighty power of God, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the coming and suffering of Christ, and God’s abundant promises to those who trust and serve Him. These chapters call believers to wait upon the Lord for strength, walk in humility, depend upon God alone, encourage the discouraged, refuse to take God’s glory, endure affliction and false accusation without defending themselves, proclaim God’s Word faithfully, care for the needy, pray and intercede, and follow the rejected Christ in the way of the cross. At the center stands Jesus—the Servant Who suffered silently and gave Himself for sinners—while throughout these chapters God repeatedly assures His people, “Do not fear,” promising to strengthen, uphold, guide, comfort, carry, and ultimately vindicate those who trust Him.
