12. Freedom From The Love Of Money To Love God

This message contrasts Old Covenant and New Covenant Christianity by examining the believer’s attitude toward money, possessions, sickness, poverty, and salvation. Drawing from Deuteronomy 28, Matthew 1:21, Matthew 6:33, Luke 16:13, Romans 14:17, Psalm 37:25, and other passages, the teaching argues that the Old Covenant emphasized earthly blessings such as health and prosperity, while the New Covenant focuses on deliverance from sin and the pursuit of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Rather than seeking wealth or freedom from hardship as life’s primary goal, the New Covenant believer seeks God’s kingdom first, trusting the Father to provide every earthly need while cultivating a life centered on Christ and eternal values.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
