20. Holiness Of Jesus

Many Christians rightly celebrate Jesus Christ as their Savior, yet often overlook His equally important role as our Example. This study explores the New Testament’s call to follow Christ’s example of humility, purity, and obedience, while rejecting the misconception that His holy life is unattainable for believers. Drawing from key passages such as 1 Peter 2:21, Hebrews 4:15–16, Romans 6:14, and Luke 2:40, the lesson demonstrates that Jesus overcame temptation through continual dependence upon the Father’s grace and invites every believer to receive that same grace. Rather than merely admiring Christ’s sinless life, Christians are encouraged to approach the throne of grace daily, trusting God to provide the power needed to resist temptation and walk in increasing holiness.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
