Fundamental Biblical Truths Message 21

21.Jesus’ Attitude To Money
Jesus Christ came not only to die for our sins but also to demonstrate how God intends mankind to live. In this study, His earthly life reveals a perfect example of victory over temptation and complete freedom from the love of material possessions. Whether working as a carpenter or serving in full-time ministry, Jesus handled money with integrity, contentment, generosity, and unwavering trust in His heavenly Father. He neither pursued wealth nor allowed possessions to master Him, teaching that believers cannot serve both God and mammon. His example calls every disciple to exercise self-control, avoid attachment to earthly riches, faithfully meet financial obligations, care for the poor, and use material resources as faithful stewards for God’s glory. This study challenges Christians to examine their own attitudes toward money and to follow Christ’s pattern of wholehearted devotion to God rather than the pursuit of earthly gain.
