22. Examples Of Humility

The humility of Jesus Christ stands in complete contrast to the pride that brought sin into the world through Satan. This study demonstrates that while Jesus showed mercy and compassion toward repentant sinners, He consistently opposed religious pride and self-righteousness. Drawing from numerous passages throughout Scripture, it reveals that God’s grace is given only to the humble, making humility the essential foundation for spiritual growth and victory over sin. Through Christ’s example—from ministering to broken sinners to washing His disciples’ feet and patiently enduring insults—the believer is called to embrace the same servant-hearted attitude. The Holy Spirit transforms Christians into Christ’s likeness as they behold His glory in Scripture, making humility not merely a virtue but the very soil in which every other Christian grace flourishes.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
