7. Grace and Faith

This study explains humanity’s universal problem of sin and God’s solution through Jesus Christ. While all people have sinned and fallen short of God’s perfect standard, God, in both His love and justice, provided a way for forgiveness through the death and resurrection of His Son. The gospel is unique because Christ died for the sins of the world and rose again, proving that God accepted His sacrifice. Salvation is not earned by works but received as a gift of grace through faith. The believer’s entire Christian life continues on this same principle, drawing upon God’s sufficient grace for every trial, temptation, and need. Through Christ’s redeeming work, believers are forgiven, blessed with the Holy Spirit, and empowered to become channels of God’s blessing to others.
