Fundamental Biblical Truths Message 25

25. The New Covenant
The New Covenant, established through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, offers far more than forgiveness of sins. Unlike the Old Covenant, which depended upon external commandments and exposed humanity’s inability to obey God perfectly, the New Covenant provides three glorious promises: God completely forgives and remembers our sins no more, every believer has direct access to the Father through Jesus Christ without the need for a human mediator, and the Holy Spirit writes God’s laws upon our hearts, giving both the desire and the power to do His will. This study explains how these promises transform the Christian life from one of external obligation to an intimate relationship with God characterized by faith, dependence upon the Holy Spirit, and joyful obedience.
