24. Faith Results In Praise

Many Christians understand that Christ completed the work of salvation on the cross, but what should be their response to this finished work? This study explains that genuine faith is demonstrated through heartfelt praise and thanksgiving rather than by merely repeating positive confessions. Drawing from the examples of Jehoshaphat, Jonah, Abraham, and the blind man healed by Jesus, the message distinguishes biblical faith from presumption and warns against confessing what God has not promised. True praise flows from confidence in God’s revealed Word, His finished work in Christ, and His unchanging character. Believers are encouraged to thank God not because every circumstance has already changed, but because He remains sovereign, Christ has defeated Satan, sins have been forgiven, and God faithfully works all things together for the good of those who love Him.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
