Job-1

The Book of Job opens a window into the unseen realm behind the suffering of a godly person and reveals truths that Job himself could not see while enduring his trials. Through Job’s life, we discover the kind of person God values—a man or woman who is blameless and upright, fears God, turns away from evil, cares for the spiritual welfare of the family, and lives before God rather than for the approval of people. Job’s suffering also exposes the activity and limitations of Satan, the danger of judging those who suffer, and the false assumption that health and prosperity necessarily prove God’s blessing. Most importantly, Job demonstrates the heart of a worshiper: after devastating loss, he fell before God and worshiped. His life challenges believers to remain faithful through suffering, accusation, loneliness, and misunderstanding, trusting that God is compassionate, sovereign, and accomplishing purposes that may be hidden from our sight.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
