Fundamental Biblical Truths Message 14

14. Salvation From Sin
This study examines the central purpose of Christ’s coming as revealed in the very first promise of the New Testament: “He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). It explains the critical difference between receiving forgiveness for sin and experiencing deliverance from sin’s power through the New Covenant. Using biblical illustrations such as David and Goliath, the woman caught in adultery, Samson, and Paul’s teaching in Romans, the lesson demonstrates that Christ came to address humanity’s deepest problem—the root of sin itself—not merely its outward symptoms. Believers are encouraged to pursue genuine inward holiness through the indwelling Holy Spirit, who alone can free them from the dominion of sin and transform them into lives of practical righteousness.
