15. Jesus Is Our Forerunner

This study explores the often-overlooked biblical truth that Jesus is our “Forerunner,” demonstrating not only His deity but also His full humanity. Because Christ faced genuine temptation as a man while relying on the power of the Holy Spirit, He became the perfect example for every believer to follow. Salvation is presented in its three dimensions—deliverance from sin’s penalty, its present power, and its future presence—revealing God’s desire not only to forgive sin but to transform lives. Through the example of Jesus, believers are encouraged to reject excuses for sin, trust God’s grace, and pursue a life of victory by following Christ’s example in complete dependence upon the Father.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
