27. The Right Way To Pray

Prayer is practiced in nearly every religion, yet Jesus revealed a radically different way to pray. Instead of formal, rehearsed speeches or meaningless repetition, He taught His followers to approach God with the openness and trust of children speaking to their loving Father. This study explores Jesus’ warnings against praying to impress others, His call to persistent and faith-filled prayer, and the true purpose of prayer—not informing God of our needs, but cultivating fellowship with Him and allowing Him to transform our hearts. The foundation of biblical prayer is confidence in God’s perfect love, perfect wisdom, and almighty power as our heavenly Father.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
