That We May Know Him

Who is True

All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 38

All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 38

March 25, 2026 Marion Merriweather

Today’s message explores the foundational biblical principle that what a believer receives from God is determined not by desire but by faith—“according to your faith.” Drawing from the healing of the blind men in Matthew 9, the teaching emphasizes the importance of specific prayer, trusting in God’s ability rather than our own, and the transformative power of the new covenant. It contrasts the limitations of the law with the empowering promises of God’s “I will” in the new covenant, highlighting the essential role of the Holy Spirit in enabling true obedience and victory over sin. The message also warns against counterfeit expressions of Christianity and calls believers to pursue a genuine experience of the Kingdom of Heaven—marked by inner transformation, freedom from sin, and a life of continual joy and faith.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
