That We May Know Him

Who is True

All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 37

All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 37

March 24, 2026 Marion Merriweather

This lesson explores how Jesus lived not by rigid rules but by the continual leading of the Holy Spirit, providing a model for true Christian living. Through examples such as the healing of the woman with the issue of blood, the raising of Jairus’ daughter, and the selective healing at the Pool of Bethesda, we see that Jesus responded only to the Father’s direction rather than human reasoning or external pressure. The message emphasizes that believers today are likewise called to live by the Spirit, not by law—learning to discern when to act, when to wait, and how to walk in faith and dependence on God. True discipleship is not governed by fixed principles alone, but by a living relationship with God, where the Spirit guides each decision, ensuring alignment with His perfect will.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
