6. New-Covenant Parent-Children Relationship

Biblical parenting is far more than teaching children good behavior; it is the sacred responsibility of bringing them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Parents are called to seek God’s glory rather than human approval, teaching their children respect, obedience, truthfulness, and reverence for God through both instruction and loving correction. Fathers bear primary responsibility for this task, though mothers may need to step into that role when necessary. Just as God displays both kindness and severity, parents must balance grace and discipline while avoiding anger and hypocrisy. Through consistent prayer, godly example, faithful teaching of Scripture, and a commitment to truth, parents can establish a strong spiritual foundation that helps their children remain steadfast in an increasingly ungodly world.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
