2 & 3 John, Jude

In this study of 2 John, 3 John, and Jude, Zac Poonen examines the importance of walking in truth, loving one another, and remaining faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through John’s letters, we discover how Christ’s earthly life provides the standard for discerning false teaching, practicing genuine Christian hospitality, and recognizing the difference between humble spiritual leadership and self-seeking ambition. Jude’s letter further warns against turning God’s grace into permission to sin, urging believers to contend earnestly for the faith, resist spiritual deception, and remain steadfast in God’s love. Throughout these three letters, we are reminded that genuine Christianity is demonstrated through obedience, humility, holiness, and a life that reflects Jesus Christ.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
