Hebrews-3

In this study of Hebrews 6–8, Zac Poonen challenges believers to move beyond the elementary teachings of Christianity and press on toward spiritual maturity. He warns against deliberate sin, spiritual complacency, and seeking God’s blessings without producing spiritual fruit. Through Abraham’s example, he emphasizes patient faith and perseverance, anchoring the Christian life in the hope of becoming like Jesus. He also explains the superiority of Christ’s priesthood over the Levitical priesthood and the profound difference between the Old and New Covenants. Under the New Covenant, believers are invited to stop relying on their own strength and to experience God’s transforming work in their hearts, knowing Him personally as their Father.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
