Genesis-1

This opening lesson of Through the Bible establishes the foundation for studying God’s Word with the right purpose. Beginning with 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and continuing through Genesis 1-9, the study demonstrates that Scripture was breathed out by God to teach, correct, train, and transform believers into the likeness of Christ. Rather than pursuing biblical knowledge alone, Christians are called to meditate on God’s Word, depend upon the Holy Spirit, and walk in daily fellowship with the Lord. Through the lives of Adam, Cain, Abel, Enoch, and Noah, this lesson highlights God’s work of redemption, the importance of obedience, separation from darkness, overcoming temptation, walking with God, and living with an eternal perspective.
