Hebrews-2

In this Bible study, Zac Poonen explores the transforming power of God’s Word and the believer’s calling to spiritual maturity. Drawing primarily from Hebrews 4–6, he explains how Scripture goes beyond outward behavior to expose the heart’s thoughts and intentions, distinguishing between human effort and the work of the Holy Spirit. He presents Jesus Christ as our compassionate High Priest, Who experienced temptation without sin and invites us to approach the throne of grace for help in our time of need. Through the example of Christ’s obedience, believers are encouraged to move beyond elementary teachings, reject merely outward religion, and pursue a life of holiness, discernment, and increasing Christlikeness.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
