2. Seeing Christ’s Glory – And Becoming Like Him

This message presents a powerful contrast between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant, emphasizing that true New Covenant living is marked by continual spiritual transformation “from glory to glory” through the work of the Holy Spirit. Drawing primarily from 2 Corinthians 3, 1 John 3, Acts 23–24, and James 1, the speaker explains that Christian life should not remain stagnant or decline spiritually, but progressively become more like Christ. The message highlights the importance of seeing the glory and character of Jesus in Scripture, maintaining a clear conscience before God and people, and pursuing purity and Christlikeness with wholehearted sincerity. Ultimately, the believer’s greatest hope is not merely heaven itself, but to see Jesus and become like Him.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
