17. Transformation

Many Christians believe heaven is the ultimate destination of the Christian life, yet Scripture reveals that God’s predetermined purpose is far greater—to conform believers into the image of His Son. This study explores the narrow gate of the new birth, the narrow way of sanctification, the continual work of the Holy Spirit, and the believer’s responsibility to cooperate with God’s transforming grace. Through the renewing of the mind and daily obedience, Christians progressively grow into the likeness of Christ, fulfilling God’s eternal purpose and preparing for the day they will be perfectly like Him.
