All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 11

All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 11

In this lesson from the “All That Jesus Taught” series, we begin exploring the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7), focusing on the first three Beatitudes: being poor in spirit, mourning over sin, and walking in meekness. Jesus spoke these words primarily to His disciples, revealing the foundational attitudes required to possess the Kingdom of Heaven. Poverty of spirit is described as daily spiritual dependence on God; mourning is sorrow over sin and spiritual failure; and meekness is surrendering personal rights in humility. These qualities, perfectly demonstrated in Christ, form the true beginning of discipleship and the pathway to spiritual authority and fruitfulness.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
