Who is True

All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 12

All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 12

In this study from Matthew 5, we examine what it truly means to hunger and thirst for righteousness as part of fulfilling the neglected half of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:20). Jesus teaches that desperate longing for holiness, mercy toward others, and purity of heart are essential characteristics of true disciples. Drawing from Jeremiah 29:13, Hebrews 5:7, James 2:13, and other scriptures, this message emphasizes that overcoming sin requires wholehearted pursuit, godly fear, and a clear conscience. Only those who seek God with all their heart will find Him, experience victory, and see God at work in their lives.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
