All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 25

All That Jesus Taught-Lesson 25

This study continues the exploration of all that Jesus taught in connection with fulfilling the Great Commission in Matthew 28:20. Focusing on Jesus’ teaching in the Sermon on the Mount, it examines the final “wrong attitude” that Jesus warned against—judging and condemning others. Drawing from Matthew 7 and other passages of Scripture, the message explains why believers should refrain from judging others, since we do not know the hidden motives or private struggles in a person’s life. Instead, Christians are called to judge themselves first, avoid being busybodies in matters outside their responsibility, and exercise righteous discernment only within the sphere of authority God has given them. By following Christ’s example of humility and restraint, believers can live in greater love, wisdom, and spiritual maturity.

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
